It is incredibly rare to find a mechanic shop that combines top-tier technical expertise with absolute honesty, but this place does exactly that. I brought multiple of my cars in for an issue that another shop misdiagnosed, and the team here found the real problem immediately.Instead of trying to upsell me on unnecessary parts, they walked me through the exact repairs needed, explained the breakdown of the costs, and gave me a fair, upfront estimate before doing any work. They finished the job ahead of schedule, and my car is running smoother than ever.

I brought my 2002 Jeep Wrangler to Pit Stop Express in Cary to get my rear axle fixed, mainly. I also had some other minor issues with my car, but for the most part I needed help either repairing the rear axle that I had, or possibly just getting a new one altogether for my car. I have some basic mechanic skills, but nowhere near enough to do what was required to repair my vehicle, but Tim reassured me throughout the entire process that he would help me out as much as possible regardless of what needed to be done to fix the car, and I gotta say Tim really did go above and beyond to help me out. Most other mechanics would have made me pay nearly $2,000 for a new rear axle to replace my old one, and that’s just for the part, not including cost of labor. But Tim isn’t like most mechanics. He worked with me to figure out another way to resolve the issue. He was willing to allow me to source a rear axle from Facebook Marketplace, in the hopes that it could replace my old one. Tim tried using the axle that I brought him, but the axle was not in good enough condition to be put in the car in its own. I was convinced that I would have to buy an entirely new rear axle at this point, but luc
